It is odd, when you are tired your senses are dulled but your imagination goes wild! When I am tired I can write amazing stories and see things how I have never seen them before. I can go wherever I wish when I am tired and it becomes so very vivid and real that I cannot see or hear anything or anyone else even if they are standing directly beside me!
Last night I went to Camalot and I met King Arthur; we became very good friends. I witnessed one of the adventures of his knight Sir Gawain, the adventure of the Green Giant. It is a fascinating legend and I do love to hear it.
I love all my adventures and the places I go to when I am tired. But most of all I love all the friends I make on my adventures, they are always loyal and true.

Are you watching the british series called MERLIN? I think you'd like it. Admittedly, it's embarrassingly cheesy and…quite frankly terrible but the characterisation is so good and such an interesting variation…anyway, it's one of my favourite shows so I'd just thought I'd recommend it.
ReplyDeleteI hate (in the realms of absolutely loathe) Tennyson's The Lady Of Shalott. I hate the meter above all. In fact it's probably the poem I hate the most in all poetry. (Excluding of course other poems with a similar rhythm.) I have nightmares about that meter; the order and the precise. What happened to spontaneity? Of course, spontaneity is not a significant (in any way) feature in Lord T's poem but that is how it is.
(And John William Waterhouse's pre-raphelite paintings on her, however, are just…*sigh*…perfection.)
I love Arthurian legend, it's origins and all of the symbolism behind it. ^^ So much. As a child, Sir Gawain was one of my favourite stories to tell. As well as the Black Knight.
So if you want to talk Arthurian, I would love too…so long as we avoid Tennyson's poem. ¬¬ Who's your favourite all time character from legend?
Dreaming is amazing. I seem to have a specific dream landscape when I dream and - I'm not sure if this is what everyone has, I've never really asked but – it's absolutely amazing. I'll visit the same landscapes with different characters everytime. And the dreams are so vivid. Litter on the streets, slime in strange alleyways, moss on traintracks. ^^ It's so beautiful.
Wow, I wrote an essay. =S Apologies but I'm so excited by your comment and post! ^^
No problem. Of course I watch Merlin! It is the most amazing thing ever! I even have the series 1 box set!
